About Center for Japanese language Education

Center philosophy

Center for Japanese language Education was established with the aim of improving the Japanese language proficiency of international students enrolled at Hachioji Campus. We aim to enhance Japanese language learning by organizing a systematic and methodical curriculum tailored to the qualities, thinking, and Japanese language proficiency of each international student. We also provide maximum support to help students pass the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) "N1" by the time of graduation.

Facility introduction

Designed with a Japanese tea ceremony room as its concept, we have opened a space on the second floor of Building 11 Hachioji Campus where international students can relax and study. In addition to the study space, there are also dedicated classrooms equipped with multimedia equipment. The facility is well-stocked with books and equipment to support the studies of international students.

  • You can browse Japanese textbooks, Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) preparation textbooks, materials on Japanese culture, specialized books on economics and law (English, Chinese, Vietnamese, etc.), dictionaries, novels, literary collections, and more.
  • You can prepare reports and presentations using a wide variety of books.
  • You can freely read books to acquire basic knowledge about Japanese history, geography, society, politics, economy and culture.
  • You can consult with teachers who specialize in Japanese language education. (Advance reservations required)
