Q1. What made you want to become a teacher?

At first, I wanted to support students as a counselor rather than a teacher. I was taken care of by a counselor teacher when I had a problem with my school, and at first I wanted to work as a psychological counselor, but I heard various advice from the people around me and took care of myself. When I thought of the teachers at that time, I thought it would be good to support the students as teachers from a familiar standpoint, and when I was in my third year of high school, I started thinking about my career path to become a teacher.

Q2. Please tell us what you worked on to become a teacher after enrollment.

When I was in the 1st and 2nd grades, I often felt the sweetness of my job as a teacher while taking classes in the teaching profession. Furthermore, when I was in high school, I was not particularly good at studying, so when I first entered the university, I was mainly reviewing the basic knowledge of specialized subjects, so I studied while having my classmates teach me. When I was in the second year, I checked the timing of the university-recommended selection test and what I needed to do to get the recommendation from the local government that I was interested in, and gradually prepared to meet the conditions of the university recommendation. went. In addition, at the timing of the third grade, we voluntarily attended the teacher training school of the desired local government and went to learn the knowledge about the education conducted in that local government, so we increased the opportunities to learn voluntarily.

Q3. How was it using the teaching profession center?

I was taken care of by practicing interviews a couple of times, and I felt that I was able to find my own challenges and strengths. In addition, I was able to see the mock lessons from the teachers in charge of the English department and receive specific advice.

Q4. Please tell me the measures for the teacher employment exam.

Since I attended a teacher training school in the local government of my choice, I had the teachers of the full-time Senior Assistant Professor teach me mock lessons, interview practice, and correction of interview sheets. In terms of specialized subjects, we received guidance from teachers with abundant specialized knowledge, such as teachers in charge of seminars. In addition, I think it is important to make a lot of talks by asking questions in interviews and self-appeal, so many things such as acquiring qualifications, making relationships with students and parents through student tutors, volunteering for learning support, etc. I tried to gain experience.

Q5. Please tell us what you learned in the practical training.

Since the training was at a school of the municipality of my choice, I was able to get a feel for what the current state of junior high school students and their learning situation are like. Also, I could directly feel the difficulty of the work of the teachers. In that process, I felt that communication was important in building a relationship of trust with the students. It is important to communicate in order to be trusted by the students, and to be able to do what they say in order to teach the students, and I felt once again that the students are looking closely at the adults. rice field.

Q6. Please tell us the image of the teacher you are aiming for.

There are three main types. The first point is a teacher who can continue to make efforts and grow. The form of education changes with the passage of time, so I want to keep growing and provide easy-to-understand lessons for students. The second point is a teacher who is close to the feelings of the students. This idea was the starting point for aiming to become a teacher. I want to do my best without forgetting my original intentions. And the third point is a teacher who values other people. It's a timely story, but it's no wonder that people in the position of instructing students not to be bullied shouldn't do that. Once again, I would like to be a teacher who can take this natural action.

Q7. Please give some advice to current students who are aiming to become teachers.

I think I've often been told "study early", including taking exams so far, but personally, I don't think anything will start unless I'm motivated to study. However, I still hate studying and am not motivated to study, so I objectively analyzed my personality and took measures and actions for the teacher employment exam. Certainly it is important to study specialized knowledge, but in addition to that, I will experience and acquire as many weapons as possible that can be used in the field of education when I become a teacher. I felt it would be good to keep it. The rest is how to make good use of what you have learned in class and appeal in exam interviews! Try to prepare something that you can talk about because you did it yourself, not something that anyone can say.
