Head of Center Hiroko Okinaga Speaks at Harvard University
On Friday, September 15, 2017, Hiroko Okinaga, director of the Teikyo University Support Center for Women Physicians and Researchers; Mariko Inoue, associate professor at the Graduate School of Public Health; and Kyoko Nomura, former director of the office and currently a professor in the Public Health course at Akita University School of Medicine, gave lectures at the Advancing Women in Public Health & Medicine Symposium held at Harvard University (Boston, USA).

A nursing space has been set up in the center.
Since September 2017, the Support Center for Women Physicians and Researchers has had a milking area and a freezer for storing breast milk. We encourage all female faculty and staff to use this area if they are returning to work while still nursing.

At the consultation desk, regardless of gender, we will deal with various problems that occur when researchers continue their research, as well as various problems such as harassment and human relationships. In addition, please feel free to contact us regarding the balance between pregnancy, childbirth, child-rearing, long-term care and research.
