Teikyo University Community Medical Doctor scholarship
We have established our own scholarship system to secure doctors in community medicine.
Selection Criteria
Those who meet the following conditions
Apply for doctor study funds in Fukushima, Chiba, Ibaraki, and Shizuoka prefectures (prefectures that cooperate with the university), and after graduating from the university, intend to work for the period designated by the prefecture's designated medical institution. A person or a person who intends to work for the period designated by the branch hospital of the School of Medicine Hospital.
Those who graduated from high school or secondary school in March 2022 or March 2023.
Those who have excellent grades and are physically and mentally sound.
Academic performance, interviews, application documents, etc. after enrollment will be integrated and selected in the second half of the 1st year.

Terms for exemption from refund
If you meet the requirements of each of the following items, you may be exempt from the refund obligation.
Doctor license Obtain a doctor's license within 2 years after graduating from university
Initial clinical training
Those who have received the prefecture's study funds will carry out initial clinical training in accordance with the loan regulations of each prefecture.
Those who do not receive the prefecture's study funds will receive initial clinical training at our branch office.
Work after initial training
Those who have received the prefecture's study funds will work in accordance with the loan regulations of each prefecture.
Those who do not receive the prefecture's study funds will work at our branch office.
Duty period of work Work for a period equivalent to 1.5 times the loan period of the university (uniform 9 years)

If any of the following applies, the full amount of the scholarship loaned by the designated date shall be refunded.
When a person who has received the prefecture's study funds must return it to the prefecture in accordance with the loan regulations of each prefecture. However, those who have worked at our branch office from the middle of the mandatory working period are excluded.
