In today's society, where industrial activities and social systems are being digitized, human resources with the knowledge and skills necessary for digitization are required in addition to the specialized knowledge in the relevant field. For this reason, in April 2022, we established the Master's Degree Program "Graduate Degree Program of Comprehensive Applied Data Science" to train highly specialized professionals who have acquired specialized knowledge and practical skills related to data science. It features a cross-disciplinary and interdisciplinary curriculum established in close cooperation and cooperation with multiple existing graduate schools. Another feature is the active use of on-demand teaching materials, learning management systems (LMS), web conferencing systems, etc. so that faculty members and students from four geographically separated campuses can flexibly teach.
