Eligible applicants

Applicants must meet the requirements of 1 or 2 as well as 3, be recommended by the principal of a high school or secondary school, and have a desire to contribute to the local community in the future.

  1. Applicants must be graduates of a high school or secondary school located in the Tama area of Tokyo or in Kawasaki City or Sagamihara City in Kanagawa Prefecture, or be expected to graduate in March 2027.
  2. Applicants must be graduates of a high school or secondary school, or expected to graduate in March 2027, and either the applicant or their guardian must reside in the Tama area of Tokyo or Kawasaki City or Sagamihara City in Kanagawa Prefecture.
  3. Applicants must be able to make a firm commitment to enroll if accepted.

Features

  • Half of the admission fee and half of the tuition for two years are exempt.
  • Even if a student is not accepted as a scholarship student, he/she may be allowed to enroll if he/she is deemed to have the same or greater ability and aptitude as a successful candidate through the school recommendation selection process (open application system).

For the 2027 Common University Entrance Examination, admission will be determined based on the highest score in one subject from the subjects designated by this university. No individual academic ability tests will be conducted at this university.

  • *1 For "English," the score for reading (maximum 100 points) and listening (maximum 100 points) will be compressed to a maximum of 50 points each, and the combined score will be used. However, if you are granted an exemption from listening by the National Center for Admission Center, the score for reading (maximum 100 points) will be used.
  • *2 For the Japanese language section, the score for "Modern and later writing" (maximum 110 points) will be compressed to a maximum of 100 points.
  • *3 If you take two or more subjects, the subject with the higher score will be used to determine whether you pass or fail.
