We practice flexible career support based on the characteristics of majors and students.
Career Support Center (Itabashi Campus)
Itabashi Campus Employment Committee Chair Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences Professor Takashi Okura
Itabashi Campus, which primarily trains medical professionals, offers career support that goes beyond short-term assistance such as job placement or further education upon graduation. Instead, it takes a long-term perspective on students' future career development as professionals. Specifically, faculty and career support staff collaborate to conduct lectures featuring recruiters from medical institutions and companies, as well as alumni. They also hold various workshops on self-analysis, interview preparation, and essay writing, and employ full-time career counselors, including certified career counselors. Furthermore, they offer flexible career support tailored to the specific characteristics of each major and the aspirations of the students, such as offering a firefighter training course in partnership with a qualification preparation school for students in Emergency Medical Technician Course.
Features of career support
Support for job hunting through "Job NAVI"
It is possible to search and browse the job vacancies that reach our university on the Internet. We also send you information about employment by email. You can make online reservations for various employment support events such as basic employment courses (self-analysis + interview preparation), essay preparation courses, and employment consultation (resume correction, mock interviews, individual interviews).
Individual support from past databases and career advisors
Career Support Center has a file of all job postings that have been received by the university, which can be viewed freely. There is also a file of exam reports, which allows students to learn about the types of recruitment exams that have been conducted in the past and the questions asked in interviews. In addition, qualified career advisors are available to provide support to meet the diverse needs of students regarding employment and further education.
National Exam Preparation (School of Medicine Example)
A questionnaire is taken mainly by the national examination preparation committee, and the one to be taken annually is decided. Intensive lectures in the form of training camps will be held in spring and winter, sponsored by the university. In addition, we will hold commentary lectures by faculty members on campus at the request of students, using the free time outside the curriculum. In addition, faculty members from our university will form a support team to prepare for the national examination.
