Teikyo University offers step-by-step Support for Career Development starting from the time of enrollment. In the spring of their first year, students take an assessment test, a career design tool, to analyze themselves and set future goals. Career-related courses, organized by year, support students in developing employability and improving their basic social skills. In order to create a "face-to-face" Career Support Center, in addition to the traditional student interviews conducted by nationally certified career advisors, we have also established student consultation slots with staff, offer walk-in consultations, and run a career committee, providing a wide range of student support through collaboration between faculty and staff.

Features of career support

Individual student support

Career Support Center provides support tailored to each student. In addition to individual consultations with professional career advisors, the center also provides an environment where international students and students with disabilities can feel at ease.

Support program

We offer a variety of support programs tailored to each year. By thinking about your future career path and taking action on your own initiative from your first or 2nd year, you can develop the basic skills necessary for working life at an early stage. In addition, our joint company information sessions, which bring together top companies from around the country, are attended by many companies and organizations that are eager to hire from Teikyo University, allowing students to efficiently find a company that suits them.

Career-related courses

At Teikyo University's Hachioji Campus, among the "General Education (basic fields for Faculty of Medical Technology)" we offer "Career-related courses" to develop basic working skills and foster a career perspective, including an introduction to careers, career design exercises, and internship-related courses.

Lifetime support (Shinjuku satellite office)

In partnership with Tokio Marine & Nichido Career Service, which develops comprehensive human resources services, a satellite office of the Career Support Center was opened in Shinjuku, and individual consultations (reservation required) by counselors to support employment and career changes for current students and graduates. We are working to strengthen lifelong career development development support.
