The Fukushima Prefecture Community Medical Doctor Securing Study Fund Loan System is formal for first-year students of the School of Medicine our university who have passed the general selection (Fukushima Prefecture Special Area Frame) who wants to contribute to Fukushima Prefecture's community medicine in the future. Fukushima Prefecture will lend the study funds to the extent of the period of enrollment. Eligibility Requirements

Enroll in the Teikyo University School of Medicine General Selection (Fukushima Prefecture Special Entrance Examination Frame), and after graduating, engage in training and work at a medical institution designated by Fukushima Prefecture as a doctor through the Fukushima Prefecture Regional Doctors Career Development Program.   • * The amount equivalent to the admission fee will be lent up to 1 million yen as a lump-sum payment (only for those who wish) at the time of admission.

Lending period

Period equivalent to the regular period of study (6 years) (Study funds will not be lent during the period of leave or suspension of school and the period of repeated grades)

  • * Lending of study funds will start after the loan is decided, and the study funds before the loan decision month will be lent retroactively.
  • * The amount equivalent to the admission fee will be added and lent at the time of the first loan of the monthly study fund.

Terms for exemption from refund

If you become a doctor within two years after graduating from university, immediately engage in clinical training at a hospital in Fukushima Prefecture designated by the Governor of Fukushima Prefecture, and then engage in clinical training at a public medical institution in Fukushima Prefecture for a fixed period of time. Refund of study funds is exempted.
