Q1. What made you want to become a teacher?

I had a longing for the profession of "teacher" and decided on my career in the fall of my third year of high school, when I was about to take the university entrance exam. At that time, while watching the local elementary school that was on the way to high school every morning, I also wanted to stand in front of the children and see that smile, so that I could aim to become an elementary school teacher. became. And as I entered university and learned about the world of elementary school, that dream became more certain.

Q2. Please tell us what you worked on to become a teacher after enrollment.

In addition to the elementary school teacher's license, we will make efforts to improve our qualifications as a teacher and our own education, such as taking lectures on special needs school teachers and certified psychologists so that we can understand education from various perspectives. Did. In addition, I raised my outlook on education by actually leading elementary school nature classes and experiencing learning support volunteers in contact with students and on-site teachers. I think this experience was put to the fullest in preparing for the teacher employment exam.

Q3. How was it using the teaching profession center?

It was like a source of heart in advancing the preparation for the teacher employment exam. I went there many times and received a lot of advice each time. I think that helped to dispel my anxiety about studying for the teacher employment exam. The teachers at the teaching profession center always supported me with a smile and kindness. This time, I feel that the support of the teaching profession center was really great as a factor in passing the recruitment exam.

Q4. Please tell me the measures for the teacher employment exam.

Since I was able to receive a university recommendation selection, I focused on interview practice and mock classes. Due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection this year, the number of tests that would normally be conducted was reduced. Although it was an anxiety-raising exam, I gained confidence by going to the university on a daily basis with colleagues who are aiming to become teachers and studying while encouraging each other.

Q5. Please tell us what you learned in the practical training.

The importance of a relationship of trust with children. I was assigned to a 6th grade class for practical training, but it was really difficult to communicate with children who had reached the difficult age of adolescence. Even under such circumstances, the more children who have had a lot of conversation during the training, the more they feel that they have helped in the lesson practice. From that experience, I was able to learn how important it is to have a relationship of trust with children. Also, when I practiced physical education lessons with the outlook for instruction unclear, the lessons became completely disorganized, so I learned the importance of having a solid outlook for instruction.

Q6. Please tell us the image of the teacher you are aiming for.

I want to be a teacher who raises such compassionate children who can think about what makes them happy and grateful from the standpoint of the other person and understand that it is absolutely impossible to hurt people's hearts. To that end, I would like to give guidance that is close to people's hearts.

Q7. Please give some advice to current students who are aiming to become teachers.

The phrase "taking an examination is a team competition" is often used, but until now I didn't really believe it. However, I was able to realize the importance of the language throughout the study period of the teacher employment exam. The presence of colleagues who work toward the same goal is a great force for sharing worries, pointing out each other, and encouraging each other. By all means, I would like you to make friends and work hard together. Win a future where you can rejoice together!
