Yuichi Hasuda

Due to the rapid development of science and technology in recent years, robots have become widespread and introduced not only for industrial use but also for general society and homes. I think that a fully automatic washing machine can also be called a washing robot. We will develop these robots and mechatronics products. We will also participate in the World Robot Olympiad (WRO), a global autonomous robot contest, and conduct international exchanges using ICT.
In addition to presenting papers at academic societies, students are encouraged to actively participate in international conferences. In addition, works that enrich our lives will be exhibited in the invention contest sponsored by the academic society.

Our Research

Development of agrochemical spraying robot utilizing AI

Development of disaster mitigation system linked to Earthquake Early Warning

In this research, we developed a system to prevent products such as bottles from falling or being damaged from the product shelves of convenience stores and supermarkets by linking with the Earthquake Early Warning when an earthquake occurs. The work is shining second in the world in the international innovation contest 2021.

Development of handrail sterilization robot

We will develop a robot that autonomously sterilizes the handrail and does not come into contact with humans, and will verify the sterilization and movement of the handrail. By arranging the IC tag at a key point on the wall of the corridor, it is made known by using sound and light near the hand door and when turning, enabling safe driving without contact with people. The work has received the President's Award from the Japan Society for Industrial Technology Education.

Development of an auto-sampling machine for mosquitoes that transmit infectious diseases such as Aedes albopictus

Development of an auto-sampling machine for unmanned and automatic mosquito outbreaks. The robot attracts mosquitoes with the three elements of carbon dioxide, heat, and odor, and captures them. We are also working on the extermination of mosquitoes on livestock such as dairy cows.
