In our laboratory, we are conducting research and development of systems based on e-learning platforms such as learning management systems (LMS) in order to realize high quality education. For example, by utilizing the test function of LMS, we have built an environment for conducting regular regular tests online. In terms of education, I am in charge of 1st grade programming 2, programming exercise 1, information technology basics, 2nd grade logic circuits, and 2nd and 3rd grade operating systems.

Research on lecture videos for mobile terminals that synthesize audio during playback Lecture videos that can be viewed via the Internet are useful as learning materials. However, since video viewing is one of the heavy-duty applications on public lines for mobile terminals that are widely used by learners, it is desirable to reduce the video data size as much as possible. In this research, in order to reduce the size of the video, we propose a lecture video that synthesizes audio at the time of viewing, and experimentally verify how much the size can be reduced. We are also developing an application on an Android device for watching the proposed lecture video and software for creating the video. The results of this research were announced by the students belonging to this laboratory in 2016 at the 79th National Convention of IPSJ.
