Available benefits and systems

Benefits for taking the exam on two days
If you take the exam for the same faculty/department/course on two days per period (I/II), the "total score for the two subjects" and the "interview score" will be added together for each exam date, and the day with the highest score will be used to determine whether you pass or fail.

Second choice system
You can choose your second choice from within the same faculty as your first choice. (There are restrictions on the subjects you can choose.)
There is no need to submit a statement of purpose for your second choice of department or course. There is no additional application fee.

English External Testing System
If you meet the standard score for the English qualification/proficiency test designated by our university, you can use the results of an external English test by applying. In the comprehensive selection process for the Faculty of Faculty of Science and Engineering, points will be added when determining whether or not you are accepted. Open Enrollment System

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements and be recommended by a high school principal or secondary school principal

  • Those who are expected to graduate from high school or secondary school in March 2025.
  • Applicants must have a grade point average of 3.5 or above in mathematics and science for the Department of Science and Engineering (Mechanical/Aerospace Course, Robotics/AI Course, Computer Science Course) and Department of Data Science, and a grade point average of 3.5 or above in science for the Department of Science and Engineering (Environmental Biotechnology Course) up to the first semester of the final year of high school or secondary school.

Selection Process

In the 2025 Common University Entrance Examination, pass/fail will be determined based on the grades in subjects and courses designated by the university. The university will not conduct individual academic ability tests.

Three-subject method: Pass/fail will be determined based on the total score of the three highest subjects.
External English Exam Method: In the external English exam method, the higher of the "total of the converted score of the external English exam and the highest scores in the two subjects excluding English" or the "total of the highest scores in the three subjects" in the three-subject method will be used to determine pass/fail.

  • * The Common Test for University Admissions selection are required to take the three-subject test, and can also take the English external test. There is no additional entrance examination fee.
