Is "garbage" a symbol of the SDGs? Waste = garbage is filled with all kinds of information about human society. In addition, in modern society, the birth of materials that are not found in the natural world is increasing the complexity of waste. The essence of the garbage issue is how to realize a social structure that "does not have to be thrown away". Thinking about the issues of garbage is almost synonymous with thinking about the ideal society of the SDGs.

With the development of science and technology and industrial technology, "waste = garbage" is becoming more complicated.

International efforts are also needed to accurately understand the current situation and change perceptions

Japanese-made English called "food loss" has a different meaning from English food loss. Internationally, food waste consists of food loss and food waste, and efforts are being made at each stage from producers to consumers. It is also necessary to standardize the definitions of terms in order to improve the accuracy of actions by comparing with each country and introducing good examples.

Aiming for a "garbage-free society" by realizing "not throwing away" with the 3Rs
