In the Helicopter Pilot Course of the Department of Department of Aerospace Engineering, Faculty of Faculty of Science and Engineering and Technology, in addition to the specialized subjects of aerospace engineering, helicopter maneuvering training is taken. This pilot training is conducted using three US-made Robinson R-22 helicopters owned by the University. Training will begin in September of the 1st year, aiming for solo flight around December, and in the 2nd year, a national qualification for a private pilot's license will be obtained. Applicants who meet the physical requirements will obtain a limited qualification for turbine aircraft in the 3rd year 3rd year, and a commercial pilot license, which is a qualification required to be active as a professional helicopter pilot by the end of the third year. In addition, we will acquire the qualification of a special aviation radio engineer necessary for conducting flight training in the first half of the first year, and aim to acquire the qualification of a marine radio communication engineer. All the pilot training in 2019 has been completed, and the third graders have already obtained the qualifications of rotary wing commercial pilots (single-engine piston aircraft, single-engine turbine aircraft) and aeronautical radio communication.
