Available benefits

Benefits of taking the exam for two different days
If the same faculty, department, or course is taken on two different days for each time period (Phase I and Phase II), the following scores will be used to determine the pass/fail score.

  • Scores from the Basic Skills Aptitude Test and the interview on the high-scoring day will be combined and used in the selection process.
  • *Even if the elective subjects differ between the first and second days, the same method of scoring is used.

Second choice system
You can choose your second choice from within the same faculty as your first choice. (There are restrictions on the subjects you can choose.)
There is no need to submit a statement of purpose for your second choice of department or course. There is no additional application fee.

Second choice system for nursing schools (Department of Nursing only)
Students may choose either Teikyo Senior Nursing School or Teikyo Yamanashi School of Nursing as their second choice. There is no additional entrance examination fee.

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements and be recommended by a high school principal or secondary school principal

  • Those who are expected to graduate from high school or secondary school in March 2025.
  • The applicant must be in good physical and mental health and be able to adapt to four years of education, including practical training.

Selection Process

Primary selection

For the 2025 National Center Test for University Admissions, applicants will be determined based on their grades in subjects and courses designated by the university, with the total score of the three highest subjects being used to determine pass/fail.

Secondary selection

Only those who pass the first screening will be interviewed by the university to determine whether they pass or fail. The interview will be conducted by two faculty members per candidate and will last approximately 5 minutes.
