Educational Purposes

In line with the School Philosophy, the Graduate School of Medical Care and Technology aims to meet the demands of society by developing medical specialists who can provide highly advanced medical care, as well as human resources with a strong humane disposition who can play leading roles in education and research.

Three policies of the Graduate School of Medical Care and Technology

The Graduate School of Medical Care and Technology aims to develop human resources who have high humanity and specialized knowledge and skills to support highly advanced medical care, and who can provide guidance in education and research. A degree is awarded to those who have acquired the following abilities, completed the prescribed credits, and passed the thesis examination and examination.

  1. Organize courses to acquire the advanced specialized knowledge of each major and to be able to practice the technique.

Division of Orthoptics

The Division of Orthoptics aims to train practitioners, researchers, and educators of ophthalmology examinations and Division of Orthoptics training with scientific thinking, observation, judgment, and expertise in line with the purpose of the Graduate School of Medical Care and Technology.

The Division of Orthoptics aims to train orthoptist with advanced ophthalmology examination techniques as excellent practitioners, researchers, and educators. A degree is awarded to those who have acquired the following abilities, completed the prescribed credits, and passed the thesis examination and examination.

Master's course

  1. Can acquire and practice the scholarship that is the basis of vision correction.
  2. Can participate in the treatment of strabismus and amblyopia based on the evaluation of specialized examinations and diagnoses in orthoptics and orthoptics training.
  3. Understand the mechanism and pathophysiology of vision and be able to engage in next-generation educational activities.

Doctoral degree program

  3. In order to conduct research programs to develop educational research and presentation ability such as writing a master's thesis, "Special research on vision correction" is organized as a compulsory subject.

Doctoral degree program

Division of Nursing

In line with the the purpose of the Graduate School of Medical Care and Technology and human dignity, the division of Nursing aims to train practitioners, managers, researchers, and educators who have a high degree of specialization in the field of nursing and develop nursing practice creatively and practically, and support needs of diversifying in a complex and sophisticated social environment. 

The Division of Nursing aims to develop practitioners, managers, researchers, and educators with a high degree of expertise in the field of nursing by creatively and practically developing nursing practice based on human dignity. A degree is awarded to those who have acquired the following abilities, completed the prescribed credits, and passed the thesis examination and test.

Master's course

  1. Can study independently and make ethical judgments and actions as a nursing profession.

  1. A common subject group is organized to develop the physical assessment ability, advanced ethical judgment and adjustment ability, and educational and management ability necessary for nursing practice and education for subjects with complicated health problems.
  2. Specialized subjects in each nursing practice area are orgaanized to acquire advanced specialized knowledge and skills related to individual research themes.
  3. In order to specialize in learning the theory and research methods of nursing, to experience a series of research processes according to individual research themes, and to develop elementary abilities for education, research, and theoretical development, " Special research " in each nursing pracctice area is organized.

Division of Clinical Radiology

In the common subjects, in order to cultivate the ability to accurately analyze the reading comprehension and information of the original dissertation that is the basis for practicing research, "Scientific Research and Thesis Techniques", "Special Lecture on Radiology", "Medical Imaging Basics" "Reading comprehension" are organized as compulsory subjects. Furthermore, for the purpose of responding to internationalization, "Science English Special Lecture" is organized as a compulsory subject.
  2. In the specialized subjects, in order to deepen the specialized knowledge corresponding to each specialized field, elective subjects such as "Special Lecture on Medical Imaging Technology", "Special Lecture on Emergency Photography Technology", and "Environmental Radiology I" Place.
  3. In specialized training courses, students will acquire the basics of interpretation under the supervision of a doctor, and will acquire advanced medical technology through clinical training at highly specialized medical facilities, etc., and will cultivate flexible adaptability and practical ability in the medical application of medical radiology. Doctoral Program, Medical Physics Course

Division of Clinical Laboratory Medicine

The Division of Clinical Laboratory Medicine aims to train practitioners, managers, researchers, and educators who have a high degree of expertise in laboratory medicine knowledge, technology, research, and education related to clinical testing, hygiene, and food business, and play a leading role in society, and can fulfill their own goals in line with the purpose of the Graduate School of Medical Care and Technology.

A degree is awarded to those who have acquired the following abilities, completed the prescribed credits, and passed the thesis examination and test.

Division of Emergency Care

The Division of Emergency Care aims to train practitioners, managers, researchers, and educators who can medically interpret the pathology of the injured persons according to the purpose of the Graduate School of Medical Care and Technology and have practical abilities such as the ability to discriminate and judge, the ability to provide emergency life-saving treatment, the ability to provide advanced education and guidance, and the ability to manage and manage the organization.

  3. In order to develop administrative management ability that can practice high management such as emergency relief policy and administrative planning ability, and business operation and crisis management ability, practical guidance ability, etc. subjects such as "Special Lecture on Policy and Administration" are arranged as specialized subjects.
  4. In order to acquire advanced medical knowledge and skills in the field of emergency relief and to develop medical practice and guidance ability, "Special Lecture on Emergency Relief Medicine", "Special Lecture on Disaster and Disaster Prevention Crisis Management", "Special Lecture on Emergency Relief Education"etc., are arrranged as specialized subjects.

Department of Division of Sport and Health Science (opened in April 2021)

The Division of Sport and Health Science aims to train instructors, researchers, and educators who have an international perspective, expertise and practical skills in sports and health sciences, and carry out exercise guidance medically for the sports activities of athletes and the maintenance and promotion of the health of the general public in line with the purpose of the Graduate School of Medical Care and Technology.

  2. Subjects for acquiring specialized knowledge and practical skills in sports and health science, and subjects for deepening the learning and enhancing teaching, education, and research abilities are arranged as specialized subjects.
  3. Special research subjects are arranged to deeply consider each research theme and acquire the research abilities necessary for writing a master's thesis.
  4. Subjects to acquire specialized knowledge and practical skills in health and physical education are arranged as free subjects.

Division of Judo Therapy

The Division of Judo Therapy aims to train Judo rehabilitation practitioners, researchers, and educators who has specialized medical skills to deal with disorders such as fractures, dislocations, sprains, bruises, and contusions in accordance with the purpose of the Graduate School of Medical Care and Technology.

  3. Can improve the reduction, fixation, and post-therapy (procedural therapy, exercise therapy, physical therapy) for disorders such as fractures, dislocations, sprains, bruises, and contusions, and develop new treatment methods.

In order to acquire the abilities required for conferring a degree, the Division of Judo Therapy (master's course) organizes the curriculum according to the following policy.

  1. Basic subjects are arranged to acquire more specialized knowledge and skills in judo rehabilitation and related fields.
  2. Specialized subjects are arranged to acquire the actual theory of so-called locomotor injuries such as bones, joints, and muscles, their evaluation methods, and the methodology of their treatment.
  3.
