From individual student exchange programs to global education initiatives

One of the founding principles of Teikyo University is to nurture an international outlook and understanding. To this end, the University is committed to a range of international exchange programs and initiatives.

On campus, the University strives to facilitate cross-cultural interaction between students through initiatives such as the Tutors for International Students scheme, in which local students provide support and assistance to international students; the Center for Global Education (CGE), where foreign language speaking staff are on hand to provide foreign students and researchers with advice and assistance on all aspects of life in Japan; and a program of social occasions and events throughout the year.

In addition, Teikyo University is actively engaged in student and teacher exchange programs and joint research schemes with other universities around the world, and provides opportunities for overseas study and research through student exchange and research traineeship programs at Teikyo campuses and affiliated schools around the world.
