Hachioji CampusA guest speaker from the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare's Pension Bureau was invited to hold a roundtable discussion on pensions and iDeCo.

On Thursday, June 26, 2025, Professor Kenichiro Ueda of the Department of Faculty of Economics, Department of Business Administration, Teikyo University, invited Hideaki Kikuchi, Daiki Hotta, and Sumika Morino from the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare's Pension Bureau to give a lecture and hold a roundtable discussion on pensions.
The lecture explained the origins and structure of the pension system, as well as the recent pension system reform, and it was impressive to see the participating students listening intently to the lecture about the differences between pension systems in Japan and overseas. In addition, the round-table discussion following the lecture was lively, with students asking questions to Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare officials about the pension system and iDeCo.
Our university will continue to create an environment where students can learn independently.
