The 3rd Teikyo University Athletic Club Academic Award Ceremony was held

The 3rd Teikyo University Athletic Club Academic Award Ceremony was held at Teikyo University's Itabashi Campus on Monday, June 9, 2025.
The purpose of this award is to foster an atmosphere that emphasizes the balance between academics and club activities by honoring sports clubs that have achieved excellent results in their academic studies, which are the primary duty of students, and to raise the value of sports at our university. It is also intended to recognize the efforts of each individual student by honoring individual students who embody both academic and athletic excellence, thereby contributing to the improvement of the academic performance of all sports clubs at our university. This is the third time the award has been given, and seven groups and three individuals were awarded this time.

On the day, the ceremony was held in a friendly atmosphere, with the University's Chairman and President Yoshihito Okinaga handing out the award certificates to the representatives of each organization. He also delivered words of encouragement to the students who are about to start job hunting and take national exams.
Finally, Erika Komatsu (4th year, Faculty of Medical Technology) gave a speech on behalf of the award winners, saying, "I am very honored and pleased that our club activity has been recognized with the Teikyo University Athletic Club Academic Award. I feel that this award is the result of all the club members' daily efforts and support for each other. In addition, the warm support of everyone at the university was a great help in balancing my studies and club activities. We will continue to value both academics and sports and strive to grow even more. I am truly grateful for this opportunity." We look forward to the continued success of all the award winners.
