We aim to support international students and help them interact with enrolled students.
As you have probably experienced, living in a new environment without friends or acquaintances is something to look forward to, but it also brings with it great worry and uncertainty. Among the freshmen from overseas, there are many young international students who have just graduated from high school. There are also many students who live apart from their families for the first time in their life. In addition, the stress is even greater as we jump into Japan, a country with a different culture, language, and customs.
Adapting to a new environment and developing unprecedented values can be a valuable experience, but it can be extremely difficult without the support of others. The international exchange assistants aim to be good counselors and good friends for international students, as well as to bring academic and living support, in order to alleviate their concerns. This is an organization of students enrolled in our university. We also plan and manage exchange events with international students such as the Japanese lounge and support open campuses for international students.
Recruitment time and application method
The International Exchange Assistant will inform students of the recruitment on the portal sites of the Hachioji Campus and Utsunomiya Campus and the bulletin board on campus.

International exchange assistant activities are held regularly throughout the year. Activities begin with international student guidance in April, support daily life, and include events such as seasonal parties.
