In this class, we look for "what art can do in society" and think about not only expressing individuals but also transmitting them. As part of this, we are planning and implementing work productions and workshops to enliven events and the community.

Lecture content

"Art" is not just about "expressing individual thoughts and feelings." It also has the functions of "creating based on shared feelings" and "sharing feelings by producing". This class plans and holds workshops to learn with Teikyo University Kindergarten children 6 to 8 times a year. Its name is "Waku Waku Work". Students acquire various social skills by thinking about modeling and expression activities that children can enjoy and actually working with them.

Exciting work carried out (December 2021)

We carried out modeling activities with the older children of Teikyo University Kindergarten. Since it was produced in Korona-ka, we set it as a modeling activity "Waku Waku Face Shield" from the necessity. Decorate the face shield with cellophane stickers, round stickers, magic, etc.
The children were able to devise and enjoy the production, and the students were also active and active, and it was a fulfilling time together. Through such activities, you can experience the cycle in which children and students learn together.
