Educational Purposes

In accordance with the School Philosophy, the Graduate School of Medicine aims to train highly capable medical researchers and medical personnel with excellent research and medical skills.

Three policies of the Graduate School of Medicine

The Graduate School of Medicine of Medicine aims to train medical researchers with high research ability who can carry out clinical research from a field perspective or basic research with an understanding of clinical practice, and to train medical personnel with a research mindset and excellent diagnostic abilities.
A degree will be awarded to those who have acquired the following abilities, completed the prescribed credits, and passed the thesis examination and examination.

  1. Deeply study basic and clinical issues in medicine, produce results with high international acclaim, and contribute to the development of medicine.
  2. While accumulating clinical experience, we can find practical and practical problems in the medical and welfare fields, pursue them deeply, and propose or practice methods to solve them based on scientific judgment and ethics. You can learn and practice how to receive domestic and international evaluations of the results.
  3. It is possible to contribute to the health and welfare of patients by acquiring specialized or cutting-edge knowledge and techniques deeply and widely and using them for medical treatment.
  4. Be able to prepare a dissertation of a certain level or higher and present research results of international standard.

In order to acquire the abilities required for conferring a degree, the Graduate School of Medicine organizes the curriculum according to the following policy.

  1. In each field, we organize subjects that respond to medical progress and social changes.
  2. We organize compulsory subjects I to acquire the planning and logical thinking necessary for problem solving and dissertation writing, and to develop basic abilities in a wide range of fields such as medical ethics, scientific knowledge, and statistical methods.
  3. In addition to conducting specialized subjects (main subjects) for the purpose of advanced and thorough specialized education, we will organize compulsory subjects II (special research) for research, dissertation writing, and bachelor's degree acquisition.
  4. In order to broaden the horizons to various fields regardless of the specialized subject (main subject) area, it is possible to select specialized subjects (sub-subjects) and common subjects in a wide range of fields.
  5. In the above curriculums 1 to 4, we will cooperate with the specialist training program.

The Graduate School of Medicine develops medical human resources with excellent research and medical abilities in accordance with School Philosophy of founding which declares the "International perspectives, creativity, and expertise" and medical research with high research abilities. We aim to contribute to the development of medicine by fostering people.
In the Faculty of School of Medicine, it is important to learn the background as a university person and a member of society, and to broadly learn the knowledge of basic medicine and clinical medicine in the specialized field. In the subsequent pre- and post-graduate clinical training, it is essential to acquire the knowledge, techniques, and attitudes necessary for making efforts for the patient in front of them through hands-on experience. In doing so, you must be aware of the many challenges in the medical setting and in medicine, and understand that you can do more for your patients by analyzing and resolving those challenges.
We are looking for new students with the following motivations, qualities, and abilities through the above-mentioned learning and experience in undergraduate and postgraduate training.

  1. Students have an willingness to contribute to medical research from an international perspective.
  2. Students are able to be actively involved in the development, acquisition and dissemination of cutting-edge medical technology.
  3. Students have a deep interest in solving medical problems widely based on research and are willing to contribute positively.
  4. While accumulating clinical experience, students are motivated to find practical and practical issues in clinical practice and learn how to pursue them deeply.
  5. It is possible for students to acquire specialized knowledge deeply and widely and use it for medical treatment, and contribute to the health and welfare of patients.
