Educational Purposes

Graduate School of Medicine aims to cultivate medical researchers with advanced research abilities who can conduct clinical research from the perspective of the field or basic research with an understanding of clinical practice, as well as medical personnel with a research mindset and excellent diagnostic abilities. ing.
A degree will be awarded to those who have acquired the following abilities, completed the required credits, and passed the dissertation examination and examination.

  3. It is possible to contribute to the health and welfare of patients by acquiring specialized or cutting-edge knowledge and techniques deeply and widely and using them for medical treatment.
  4. Be able to prepare a dissertation of a certain level or higher and present research results of international standard.

In order to acquire the abilities required for conferring a degree, the Graduate School of Medicine organizes the curriculum according to the following policy.

  1. In each field, we organize subjects that respond to medical progress and social changes.
  2. We organize compulsory subjects I to acquire the planning and logical thinking necessary for problem solving and dissertation writing, and to develop basic abilities in a wide range of fields such as medical ethics, scientific knowledge, and statistical methods.
  3. The course is made up of specialized subjects (major subjects) aimed at providing advanced and thorough specialized education, and compulsory subjects II (specialized research) for research, writing papers, and obtaining a degree.
  4. In order to broaden the horizons to various fields regardless of the specialized subject (main subject) area, it is possible to select specialized subjects (sub-subjects) and common subjects in a wide range of fields.
  5. In the above curriculums 1 to 4, we will cooperate with the specialist training program.
