Department of Language Studies | Global Campus Program

While utilizing the knowledge and skills they have learned after enrollment, as a general rule, all students go to study abroad in partnership with the university in the second semester (fourth semester) and spend their time studying abroad. Experience the different realities of Japan and other parts of the world by coming into contact with local life, and experience what the “world” is.

  • * The program may be canceled or postponed depending on the epidemic situation of the coronavirus infection.

Study abroad program

The Department of Foreign Languages offers a variety of study abroad destinations with the aim of developing a global perspective and improving communication skills. Our global network spreads the North American continent, Europe, Asia, and Oceania, allowing each student to choose a destination according to their purpose, length of stay, and cost. In addition to language learning, there are great learning opportunities and a full range of hands-on training, such as "learning languages," "seeing people working overseas," "learning about overseas customs and culture," and "experiencing everyday life overseas."

Department of International Japanese Studies | Language and Training Programs

In principle, Japanese students study abroad in the first semester of the second year, and international students study at domestic partner universities. Experience different cultures through learning English, Japanese, local culture and history.

Conducting language and cultural training programs at designated schools in Japan and overseas

The Department of International Japanese Studies conducts a four-month “Language and Cultural Training Program” in the first half of the second year. Japanese students can participate in group camps abroad (UK, New Zealand, Australia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia).
We will provide hands-on training at our facilities and partner schools. In addition, international students will receive training in Japan at Shimane University and Shiga University, which are partner universities, taking classes in Japanese language and culture. While learning English and Japanese, students can deepen their cross-cultural experience by understanding the culture and history of the local country and region, and by coming into contact with diversity and industries.
