Entrance fee return policy for brothers/sisters

Stipend Return of entrance fee from payments made in first year
Requirements Enrolled students who have a brother or sister in one of Teikyo University's
faculties (entrance fees for the School of Medicine are excluded).
Cases where a new student enters as their sibling graduates are excluded.

Graduate School of Medicine scholarships for international students

Requirements Available to international students enrolled at the Graduate School of Medicine of good character and excellent academic performance who are experiencing financial hardship. Must be approved by the relevant academic supervisor.
Note: Not available to mature-age students
Stipend Up to 100% of admission fee and tuition fees
Scholarship period Until student departs Teikyo University
Quota No fixed quota; applications considered on merit

Details of Program of Reduction and Exemption of Tuition Fee

International students enrolled at Teikyo University, a Teikyo University Graduate School or the Teikyo University Junior College may be eligible for scholarships and discounts from tuition fees.

Tuition exemption system for new international students

■Newly adopted tuition exemption and scholarship system for international students who are entering in April 2017

Available to All the students who passed the special entrance examination for international students

Teikyo University's scholaship for privately Financed international students with good academic results

Requirements Available to privately funded international students who have achieved the good results designated by the University

Reservation Program for MEXT Honors Scholarship for Privately Financed International Students (Gakushu-Shoreihi)

Requirements

Available to privately financed international students enrolled in full-time courses at Teikyo University, Teikyo University Graduate School, Teikyo University Junior College and the Japanese Language Course (excluding research students), subject to academic performance criteria set out by the University.

* Students in the first year of study at Teikyo University, Teikyo University Graduate School and Teikyo University Junior College cannot apply within the first six months of enrollment.

Application period
  • Full year (spring)
    Application forms for full year scholarships are distributed at information sessions in early and mid April. Applicants must attend an information session. Dates and times are posted on the scholarships noticeboard.
  • Half year (autumn)
    Dates and times of Information sessions for half-year scholarships are posted on the scholarships noticeboard. Note that half-year scholarships may not be available due to budgetary restrictions.
