FC Tokyo held its second special class atHachioji Campus

On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, Teikyo University held its second special lecture at its Hachioji Campus, hosted by FC Tokyo, a professional soccer team with which the university has an official partnership agreement. The lecture was taught by Professor Fumio Tsukahara of the Department of Department of Sport and Medical Science, Faculty of Medical Faculty of Medical Technology, Assistant Professor Satoshi Iwamura of the same department, and Associate Professor Toshio Kumai of the Department of Business Administration Faculty of Economics.
This problem-solving class, in which students take the initiative in their learning, is themed around "Thinking about the future of the region with FC Tokyo," and involves students researching, analyzing, discussing, and implementing promotional measures aimed at fans and the local community. After actually visiting Ajinomoto Stadium in advance, students who participated in the special class gave presentations on promotional activities to attract fans and booth exhibition plans. They proposed new ideas and plans from a university student perspective that are conscious of local ties and will be enjoyable for visitors, and engaged in lively discussions and exchanges of opinions with Shoichiro Tanaka, Director of the Area Promotion Department of FC Tokyo's Marketing Headquarters. The plan is to further refine the plans and hold an actual event.
Our university will continue to work with FC Tokyo club staff to engage in practical activities related to social contribution and student career development.
