Utsunomiya Campus Library takes care to maintain safety and a bright indoor environment by changing from a high bookshelf to a low bookshelf. We are also promoting the introduction of ebooks based on the lessons learned from the damage to books caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake.
There is an office and reading room on the 1st floor of the library building, an AV room and reading room on the 2nd floor, and a reading room on the 3rd floor. In addition, in order to minimize damage in the event of an emergency, we have converted expensive books such as dictionaries and dictionaries into electronic books, which are equipped with facilities for viewing.
Our library has a total of more than 1 million books and holds academic information which is necessary for learning and research activities abundantly. In addition, the materials held in the Itabashi, Hachioji, Utsunomiya, and Fukuoka campus libraries can be searched across campuses through WebOPAC.
