Itabashi Campus, featuring the modern and well-equipped Teikyo University Hospital, is a state-of-the-art learning environment providing extensive opportunities to gain practical experience in a clinical setting. With the admissions center and main administration offices nearby, it represents the administrative heart of Teikyo University.

Buildings and facilities

1. Main building
The main building is the heart of the Itabashi campus, home to laboratory facilities as well as the library and cafeteria.

2. School of Medicine training center
The School of Medicine training center is used for diagnostics training and clinical training (BSL) with simulator dolls.

3. Faculty of Pharma-Science multi-purpose laboratory
The Faculty of Pharma-Science multi-purpose laboratory is a highly realistic simulated clinical environment used for preliminary training in areas such as compounding and drug dosage and administration instruction prior to on-site training.

4. Faculty of Nursing training facility
The Faculty of Nursing training facility is used to practice nursing care and health assessment techniques in a simulated hospital ward setting.

5. Department of Clinical Laboratory Science lab room
The Department of Clinical Laboratory Science lab room is used as a training lab for histology, cytology, clinical cytology and pathology studies. Every student is provided with a microscope.

6. Teikyo University Library of Medical Sciences
The medical library services the three medical faculties with modern medical information stations along with 200,000 publications, 3,000 e-journals, a comprehensive database and wireless LAN. Open until midnight.

7. Student cafeteria
The brand new student cafeteria provides a range of meal options including hot meals, noodles, rolls and sandwiches and an array of desserts in an open and inviting environment that is always thronging with students.

8. Computer room
The computer room is used for lectures and tutorials; also available for general use by students at designated times.

9. Arena
Arena is the name of the gymnasium on the fifth floor of the main building, which is used by sporting clubs and groups and occasionally for classes.

10. No.1 building
The No.1 building houses lab rooms used by the Department of Orthoptics and the Department of Radiological Technology as well as extra-large classrooms.

11. Department of Orthoptics training center
The Department of Orthoptics training center is equipped with the latest testing and inspection systems medical devices for training in testing and examination techniques, eye illnesses and conditions, and one-on-one patient care.

12. Department of Radiological Technology training center
The Department of Radiological Technology training center is a state-of-the-art clinical training facility equipped with X-ray machines, a helical CT and a recently installed open MRI.

13. Main clinical lecture theater
The Main clinical lecture theater is used for a variety of seminars and events, and has seating for 448.

14. Admissions center
The admissions center processes admission applications to all faculties and provides information to candidates including past exam papers, introductory videos and details of courses and subjects.

15. Teikyo University Hospital
Located on the grounds of Itabashi Campus, Teikyo University Hospital gives students access to invaluable clinical experience in a real-life environment.
