Hachioji CampusFaculty of Liberal Arts students received the special jury award at the Hachioji Student CM Contest

On Sunday, February 4, 2024, the screening and award ceremony for the 2023 Hachioji Student CM Contest, sponsored by University Consortium Hachioji, was held at Hachioji Gakuen Toshi Center (Hachioji City, Tokyo), and Keita Kitamura ( (2nd year student Faculty of Liberal Arts) received the Special Jury Award. Starting in July 2023, the Hachioji Student CM Contest will be recruiting 30-second video commercials with the theme of "living in Hachioji" from university students and vocational school students, and will help students learn about the diverse charms of Hachioji. At the same time, we aim to provide an opportunity for people to become attached to the area. This year, we received 40 entries from students attending universities with campuses in Hachioji City.

Regarding Kitamura's work, Dentsu Creative Director Toshiyuki Okano, who serves as a judge, said, ``If the editing synchronized with the music was done very well, and if there was some ingenuity in the final catchphrase, it could be an instant turnaround.'' "It was a work with a lot of sexuality," he said in praise. Mr. Kitamura's winning work was screened at Shinjuku Unica Vision as promotional content for Hachioji City.

In addition, two other works from our university were entered by Seminar Asano of Department of Sport and Medical Science and Graduate School Tianyi Wang (1st year Graduate School of Economics). You can also see works by Asano Seminar and Mr. Wang from the list of entry works, so please take a look.
