In a jubilant gathering held in Shinjuku, Tokyo on Saturday, February 25, Teikyo University's Cheerleading Club came together to celebrate their remarkable achievement of clinching the coveted Season Triple Crown for the 2022 academic year. The team's triumphant victories in three major competitions marked a historic first for the university. The celebration, attended by university affiliates, parents, and alumni, was punctuated with heartfelt performances, expressing gratitude from every member of the team.

Head Coach Hana Iwano of Teikyo University's Cheerleading Team remarked, "In 2022, our motto was 'If we change, the team changes. Give our all every single day.' We devoted ourselves to rigorous training. We strived for our best, without compromise, in any given environment or circumstance. By showing our unwavering commitment to our teammates, we motivated and pushed each other, ultimately securing the title of the best in Japan. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, some players continued to burn with passion, and they are the reason we have the BUFFALOES we see today. Additionally, thanks to the steadfast support of the university community, who consistently poured their unwavering passion into our endeavors, we were able to achieve victory. Moving forward, we will continue to be fueled by this passion and will deliver strength and positivity to everyone. We humbly ask for your continued support."
