Hachioji CampusWorld Artistic Gymnastics Championship silver medalist Carlos Eur paid a courtesy call on JOC President Yasuhiro Yamashita

On November 22, 2022 (Tuesday), Mr. Carlos Eur (Faculty of Medical Technology 1st year) from Teikyo University and Munehiro Kugimiya, Assistant Professor at the Department of Department of Sport and Medical Science Faculty of Medical Technology, Teikyo University, joined the Japan Olympic Committee with Naoshi Fujita, President of the Japan Gymnastics Association. (JOC) President Yasuhiro Yamashita paid a courtesy visit and reported on the silver medal in vault and the bronze medal in parallel bars at the 51st World Artistic Gymnastics Championships.

Carlos told President Yamashita how he was practicing and thanked him for the scholarship, and expressed his enthusiasm for the 2024 Paris Olympics. In addition, Assistant Professor Kugimiya had a pleasant talk with Chairman Yamashita about his teaching experience overseas, the value of sports, and the ideal form of international exchange in the future.
