Masayuki Iwade, director of the University's Sports Bureau will appear on the full-scale documentary program "“One’s way”: Seekers of Knowledge," which will be broadcast from 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2022.
Chief Iwade, who has led the team for 26 years as the head coach of our university's Rugby Football Club, has won nine consecutive titles at the National University Rugby Championship, and has produced many talented players for the Japanese national team. Currently, as the first director of the university's new Sports Bureau, which was established in April 2022, I am focusing on promoting sports, including building governance in university sports, balancing work with studies, career support, and creating a safe and secure environment. We are promoting this in an integrated manner, including collaboration with other organizations and social contributions.
