On February 2, 2022 (Wednesday), Teikyo University Hachioji Campus Co-reading Supporters held an online "Books are Interesting! Reading Recommendations" for high school students in Wakayama Prefecture.
This project is sponsored by the Wakayama Prefectural Board of Education and aims to educate high school students in the prefecture about the importance of developing reading habits in the future by communicating the appeal of reading. This time, the theme was "Ask college students! Recommendations for reading". Introducing recommended books by co-reading supporters, planning a national university vibrio battle qualifying session at the university festival "Aosha Festival" on the Hachioji Campus, and planning a "secondhand book market" to sell used books. I explained the activities that Yomi Supporters are working on. In addition, through books with high school students, such as "answering high school students' worries with" books "" arranged by S-MONDO, which is a special project of the Co-Reading Library, and answering the worries raised in advance with recommended books. I enjoyed the exchange.
