A teacher I met in junior high school was a very charming person, and under his influence, I decided to aim to become a teacher. Therefore, when I entered Teikyo University, I chose to study Faculty of Economics where I could obtain a teaching license. During my time at university, I joined Rugby Football Club, where I met my mentor, Coach Iwade (currently Secretary General Sports Bureau), and many other friends, and learned about the spirit of one team and strategic thinking. When I was looking for a job, the coach advised me to consider working for a private company, so I chose a new path in banking and began my career as a banker.
After joining Mitsubishi UFJ Bank, he learned sales at a branch and then gained experience in planning at the Tokyo headquarters. He continued to work at branches and trust banks, where he was responsible for launching MUFG Wealth Management and alliances with trust banks. While working, he earned an MBA at Graduate School and was appointed branch manager of Mitsubishi UFJ Bank's Yoyogi-Uehara branch at the age of 37.
Generally, banks are familiar with personal services such as account opening, mortgages, and asset management. Corporate sales involve consultations on business loans. A bank's mission is to deliver money, known as the "blood of the economy," to where it is needed. In this way, we aim to contribute to the development of society as a whole.
Since joining the bank, I have met many respectable people, both seniors and juniors. They come from a wide variety of universities and have a wide range of experiences. Our bank has a relaxed and gentle corporate culture, but our employees take pride in being a top bank, and in addition to a strong sense of contribution to society (and the world), we are also characterized by a corporate culture that makes rational lending decisions. Another attractive feature of our bank is the environment in which young employees can thrive.
Hearing a direct "thank you" from a customer. I was particularly impressed by the words of gratitude I received from a customer who was facing an unexpected situation, inheritance, after I proposed MUFG's solution to them. Since becoming a branch manager, my staff have sometimes told me how they would like to propose something to customers, and it makes me very happy to see their growth.
When I was 30, I was in charge of a new service launch project in the Wealth Management Division*, which was a challenge for me. There were many opportunities to coordinate and explain things between executives, and I was able to overcome them by understanding their positions and repeatedly engaging in dialogue. I believe that the communication and coordination skills I developed during this time have become my weapons.

First of all, we look for people who have experience working hard. It's attractive to see someone who has pursued something thoroughly. In addition, the ability to communicate that to others is also important. During your student days, I hope you will continue to challenge yourself with the things you love and increase your opportunities to interact with others, thereby honing your skills.
