——Class with Corona

Campus Life with Corona

Great things are happening in the world and in Japan.
College life can no longer be exactly the same as before.
But that's why you can experience, learn,
Sometimes you can grow.

So it's okay. We are looking forward.
——— Spend a new life like that,
I will report on the appearance of Teikyo University students.

I wonder if my third year of college will end without classes. When I started thinking that way, online classes started.

The new coronavirus became a problem during the spring holidays of three years.
Spring holidays have been extended as it is, and there were no classes in April, and Golden Week has passed. When I started to wonder, "I wonder if my third year of college will end as it is," the class started online.

In the early days of online lessons, most of the lecture resumes and audio were prepared in advance. At first, I felt it was inconvenient because I couldn't immediately ask what I didn't understand.

However, you can take it anytime. By that time, the number of part-time jobs for cram school Senior Assistant Professor had decreased, and I couldn't continue to cancel my hobby concerts. As I took advantage of the time I spent at home and took lessons, I gradually felt that my time had increased.

Apply for benefits using the on-campus portal site. There is no troublesome procedure at all, and the application is completed immediately.

When the lessons went online, I had to print the resumes of the lessons that the teacher had printed up to that point. I started thinking about buying a tablet to save money on paper and ink.

The university has an on-campus portal site where you can not only know the contact information but also make various applications. One day, I received a notification of a benefit application on the campus portal site.

If you want to buy a tablet with this, the procedure is immediate. The procedure was simple, just enter your account number and you're done. About a month after that, the benefits were transferred.

The gap time can be effectively used. You can put together the prints. The tablet was convenient in many ways.

I bought an iPad and an Apple Pencil as a benefit. It was convenient in many ways. In the latter half of spring, face-to-face lessons are also available. In the spring, I went to school for one hour of class a week. Then, the gap time will inevitably increase.

Even before I bought a tablet, I used to listen to online classes on my smartphone while commuting to school, look at the printed materials, and do something like that, but it's still difficult to do. You may also have to do other online lesson assignments in your spare time.

If it's a tablet, you can study by watching the resume on the screen while listening to the audio. You can carry prints of other lessons that you do not use on that day together.

There is also group work in class, but tablets are easier to look up than smartphones and are not as bulky as computers. We were also able to share the screen with everyone.

At first I felt inconvenienced, but now I am using the ICT system conveniently.

Some of my friends don't like online classes because they can't immediately ask people what they don't understand. I also hear from friends of other sizes who do not have their own computer that it is inconvenient to share a computer with their family. At first, I also found it inconvenient to take online classes.

But now, I take classes online normally, get information on the campus portal site, apply for it, and use the tablet every day.

Without the opportunity of Corona, we might not have used the so-called ICT (Information and Communication Technology) mechanism such as PCs and tablets so much. I'm sure it's the same with me, my friends, and my teacher.
