Course features

This course is targeting incumbent teachers who aim to acquire more specialized insight based on field experience. We focus on the collaboration between education and medicine so consider the four approaches and their relationships; clinical education, special support education, educational activity, school education. We foster human resources who acquire the qualities and abilities to accurately and appropriately deal with various educational issues which schools, administration and local communities have. We have prepared the environment where students can achieve rich learning while fusing theory and practice.

Four models installed in School Leader Course

Incumbent teachers will choose one of the following four models.

Model for Candidate of Education Managerl: School Management Model (BSM: Class B)

This is a model for incumbent teachers who are dispatched by Board of Education to take on managerial positions at educational institutions in the future.

Middle Leader Model: Middle Leader Model (BML: Class B)

This is a model that enhances the ability as a middle leader in schools and Boards of Education.

Yogo Teacher Model: School Nurse Model (BSN: Class B)

This is a model to improve your ability as a school nurse

Special Support Education Model: Special Education Model (BSE: Class B)

This is a model that enhances expertise related to Special Support Education and competence as a leader in Special Support Education.

Eligibility Requirements

Incumbent teachers who have a license stipulated in Education Personnel Certification Act (excluding temporary hires and part-time) 

1-year Completion Program (short-term course system)

We opened this course for incumbent teachers who have the ability to obtain a degree for Master of Education (Professional) by taking entrance examinations, document screening, oral examinations and classes for one year at the Graduate School of Teacher Education. If your background, practice and research achievements at your school meet the achievement goals and contents of the practice subjects in "Practice Subject Exemption Regulations", you will be exempted from up to 7 credits of the practice subjects.
