Hachioji Campusintroductory guidance session for civil servants was held at Hachioji Campus

On Thursday, May 29, 2025, an introductory guidance session for civil servants was held at Teikyo University's Hachioji Campus, hosted by Office of Student Support 's Career Support Center.
At this guidance session, Taku Matsuno from Ohara Gakuen, who teaches the "Civil Service General Education I & II" Senior Assistant Professor at Hachioji Campus, will be speaking to students of our university who are interested in working in the civil service, explaining the types of civil servants, job titles, examination systems, salary structures, and more.
On the day, 84 students from first to fourth year participated, and received a wide-ranging explanation about the work of a civil servant, including the differences between national and local civil servant positions, exam procedures, job content, salary structure, and whether or not there are transfers. After the guidance session, many participants asked Mr. Matsuno questions, demonstrating the enthusiasm of the students. Going forward, faculty and staff at Hachioji Campus will continue to support and assist each student to make a career choice that satisfies them.
