Selective clinical training (BSC) overseas training program

国家試験対策

As a university committed to internationalization, the Faculty of School of Medicine offers an eight-week elective clinical training (Bedside Clerkship: BSC) in the sixth year using a clerk shop system. Selected students are then invited to take part in an overseas training program at university hospitals in Europe, the United States, and Asia. By working as part of a medical team at an overseas hospital and experiencing medical communication with people from different cultural backgrounds, students gain broad international insight and develop the skills necessary to become a doctor capable of adapting to diverse situations. Students who return home with a rich experience share the profound experiences they gained in this program with their peers, making them a valuable asset.

Preparations for National examination

国家試験対策

The national examination is unavoidable when aspiring to become a doctor. Our School of School of Medicine offers a variety of measures to prepare students for this. One of these is the comprehensive lecture held in June of the sixth year, when the elective comprehensive training (BSC) ends. This class incorporates a curriculum that allows students to reflect on what they have learned so far and review everything they have learned. We also invite Senior Assistant Professor from prep schools to give lectures and conduct mock exams between classes. Taking external mock exams allows students to compare themselves with other universities, reassess their current situation, and steadily move toward their goals. In addition, to ensure they pass the national examination, we hold camp-style lectures three times a year in spring, summer, and winter for some students, providing support until they pass.
