Staff from the Institute of Language Education Chung-Ang University visitedHachioji Campus to hold an information session about our study abroad program.

On Monday, June 15, 2026,at Teikyo University (Hachioji Campus), as part of the “Life Design Seminar I” course taught by Li Huizheng (Faculty of Languages and Cultures Department of Foreign Languages Associate Professor) and Kim Hyo-jin (Senior Assistant Professor) of our university’s Department of International Studies, three staff members from the Institute of Language Education (Chung-Ang University South Korea) visited the campus to hold an information session regarding the Global Campus Program (GCP) (international exchange program), which is conducted during the second semester (Department of Foreign Languages 2nd year).

Our university signed an interdepartmental exchange agreement with that institution in 2024, and the information session was held to help students gain a concrete understanding of what studying and living abroad would be like, with the aim of helping them prepare for their study abroad program at that institution.
On the day of the event, approximately 80 first-year students from our university—Faculty of Languages and Cultures, Department of Foreign Languages, and Korean Course—participated. The session covered an overview of the partner university, the content of its Korean language curriculum, class schedules, and scholarship programs, as well as South Korea extracurricular activities such as cultural experiences and language exchange programs.In addition, cultural experience events organized by the university were introduced through a quiz, and students who answered correctly received original merchandise. Hearing directly from the university’s staff provided students with a valuable opportunity to visualize their study environment and daily life abroad more concretely.
Our university will continue to leverage its partnerships with partner institutions to support students in taking the initiative to learn abroad.
