Students from Faculty of Fukuoka Medical Technology received the Academic Encouragement Award and the Educational Encouragement Award.Fukuoka Campus

In February 2026, a group of six students from the Kamezawa Laboratory and a group of six students from the Shinoda Laboratory of the Department of Department of Radiological Technology Faculty of Fukuoka Medical Technology, were selected to present their research at the 19th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Radiological Education, hosted by the Japanese Society for Radiological Education. They received the Academic Encouragement Award and the Educational Encouragement Award, respectively. The award certificates were presented to them at the graduation ceremony and degree conferment ceremony held on March 15, 2026 (Sunday) at the university's Fukuoka Campus.

The presentations from the two groups were titled "Development of a Water Absorbed Dose Education System Using Cross-Reality Technology" and "Research on the Accuracy of Learning Support Tools Using Generating AI," respectively. Following deliberation by the Board of Directors of the Society in November 2025, these two studies were highly evaluated for their potential to contribute to the advancement of radiological education, leading to this award.
Teikyo University will continue to share the results of its education and research with society.
