Ekiden (Road Relay) Club paid a courtesy visit to France Bed Co., Ltd. atHachioji Campus

On Thursday, February 19, 2026, the Teikyo University Ekiden (Road Relay) Club paid a courtesy visit to France Bed Medicurrent Tokyo (Kodaira City, Tokyo) to report the results of the 102nd Tokyo-Hakone Round-Trip College Ekiden Race to France Bed Co., Ltd., with which the team has a uniform sponsor logo contract. The university has had a sponsor logo contract with the company since October 2021, and in addition to providing bedding to the Ekiden (Road Relay) Club members, the team also competed in the Hakone Ekiden wearing specially designed uniforms featuring the company's logo.
On the day of the visit, the team reported to employees, including Representative Director and Executive Vice President of France Bed Co., Ltd., Kazumi Ikeda, that the team had placed 9th overall in the Hakone Ekiden and had secured seed rights, and expressed their gratitude for their ongoing support. The team members also shared their impressions of the race and their determination for the coming year. At the end of the visit, there was also time for interaction with the employees, which enabled a fruitful exchange.
