Comprehensive collaboration agreement concluded with France Bed Co., Ltd.
On Wednesday, December 24, 2025, Teikyo University Educational Corporation (headquarters: Itabashi-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Yoshihito Okinaga) and France Bed Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Shigeru Ikeda) signed a comprehensive collaboration agreement. Expanding from a sponsorship agreement for the Teikyo University Ekiden (Road Relay) Club, this agreement will leverage each other's human and intellectual resources to promote the resolution of social issues and the creation of new value through education and research, technological development, and human resource development.
Since 2021, our university has had a sponsorship contract with France Bed Co., Ltd. for our Ekiden (Road Relay) Club, and they have competed in many competitions, including the Hakone Ekiden (Tokyo-Hakone round-trip university relay race), wearing uniforms bearing the company's logo. This agreement, which has developed from our relationship with our university Ekiden (Road Relay) Club, will promote mutual collaboration and cooperation with our university in the following areas:
- Promoting research and technological development
- Improving health and medical care
- Education and Human Resource Development
- Internships and job placement support
- Other collaborative projects based on consultations
With this agreement, the university's Sports Medicine Center and the company's Production and Development Headquarters will utilize each other's resources and knowledge to cooperate in research, technology development, and educational activities, and will promote the improvement of athletes' sleep quality and product development.

France Bed Co., Ltd.

Teikyo University Ekiden (Road Relay) Club
This is a Teikyo University-designated training club. Founded in 1979, the club currently has 60 members under the leadership of coach Takayuki Nakano. Recent achievements include: Hakone Ekiden: 27 appearances over 19 consecutive years (highest ranking: 4th overall); All-Japan University Ekiden: 17 appearances over 3 consecutive years (highest ranking: 5th). In 2025, the team achieved strong results in many competitions, and will continue this momentum by competing in the 102nd Hakone Ekiden as a seeded school. We appreciate your warm support.
