Students from Department of Radiological Technology received training in radiological technology at I-Shou UniversityItabashi Campus

From Sunday, October 12th to Sunday, October 19th, 2025, 15 students and faculty from the Department of Department of Radiological Technology, Faculty of Medical Technology, Teikyo University, underwent a training course in radiological technology at I-Shou University (Kaohsiung, Taiwan).
Our university and the Department of Radiology, Faculty School of Medicine, I-Shou University signed an MOU in March 2024, and this training aimed to further deepen human exchanges between the two universities.The participants visited I-Shou University and toured the main campus, School of Medicine campus, and the affiliated hospital, E-DA Hospital.

At the main campus, students participated in lectures on Taiwanese culture and society, and deepened their understanding of Taiwan by experiencing the local language, food, and customs. At School of Medicine campus, students participated in lectures and on-campus training on abdominal ultrasound examinations, as well as AI analysis training on abdominal ultrasound images, learning abdominal ultrasound procedures and the latest technology. At E-DA Hospital, they experienced the actual operation of image diagnosis and radiation therapy, as well as the clinical setting, providing a meaningful experience that allowed them to experience firsthand the unique atmosphere of Taiwanese clinical settings, something they would not be able to experience in a Japanese hospital.
On the final day, the students participated in an event celebrating the 35th anniversary of the founding of I-Shou University. A variety of performances were presented by students from many countries and regions, and our students also participated as part of the performances, providing a valuable experience of coming into contact with the cultures and traditions of the world.
Through this program, the participating students experienced the similarities and differences between Taiwanese and Japanese medical care and culture, broadening their international perspective and deepening their multifaceted learning.

The two universities will continue to strengthen their collaboration and promote exchanges in the fields of education and research.
