On July 8 (Tue.) and 9 (Wed.), 2025, Teikyo University held a transfer selection guidance at Hachioji Campus for first and second year students of Teikyo University Junior College and junior college students belonging to Teikyo Junior College and Interdisciplinary Course of Teikyology Sono Junior College, which are group schools, with a total of 31 junior college students participating over the two days.
This guidance session was aimed at junior college students considering transferring to Teikyo University, and included an overview of the transfer selection exam and tuition exemption system, as well as the eligibility requirements and examination system for the "Special Transfer Selection" available to junior college students from other affiliated schools. Current students who actually transferred also shared their success stories, providing participants with a wide range of advice, including about student life after transferring, what they were conscious of in preparing for the transfer selection exam, and how they discussed it with junior college faculty. Going forward, faculty and staff at Hachioji Campus will continue to support and assist each student to make a decision they are satisfied with.
