Itabashi CampusProfessor Yusuke Watanabe of the Department Internal Medicine at School of Medicine was awarded the title of Teikyo University Startup Company

On Thursday, July 3, 2025, the Teikyo University Teikyo Technology Transfer Center held the 6th Teikyo University Venture Title Award Ceremony at the Teikyo University Itabashi Campus, and awarded the 6th title to MEDVERSE Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "MEDVERSE"), a venture company originating from the university.
Our university awards the title of "University Corporation" to university-originated venture companies that are established using our university's intellectual property, research results, or human resources.

The recipient of this award, Professor Yusuke Watanabe of the Department of Internal Medicine Internal Medicine our university's School of Medicine, is an active Cardiology and is also dedicated to student education and research.
MEDVERSE, founded in 2022, primarily provides services that combine IT and medicine, such as using the metaverse to host medical conferences, clinics, and pharmacies, providing medical video production support services, and AI vital sign diagnosis.

The award ceremony was held under the chairmanship of Head of Center Professor Hodaka Nakanishi, and Chairman President Yoshihito Okinaga presented the title to Professor Watanabe, the representative director of MEDVERSE. After the award ceremony, a chat was held, and discussions on AI-based medical technology were further deepened.

MEDVERSE is expected to continue to contribute to the advancement of medical technology using IT technologies such as AI.
