Short-term overseas training program held during spring vacation

From February to March 2025, students from Teikyo University (Hachioji Campus, Itabashi Campus, Utsunomiya Campus, and Fukuoka Campus) traveled to the UK, the US, Australia, Thailand, and South Korea to participate in short-term training at overseas campuses and partner universities.

This training program is a one to two week long vacation program that allows students to study language and experience different cultures at an overseas partner school. Since it takes place during a period when there are no classes at our university, students can study abroad without affecting their classes. There are no language requirements and the staff on-site provides ample support, so even students who have never traveled abroad can easily participate. Students who participated commented, "I had many opportunities to visit castles and museums by myself, and I had to ask questions and ask for photos myself, so I gained confidence in my communication skills," and "I realized that even though we live in the same world, the customs, cultures, and cityscapes are so different." This shows how fulfilling the training was.

Our university will continue to actively carry out such activities in order to realize Educational Guidelines of "International perspectives."
