A graduate student from Utsunomiya CampusGraduate School Graduate School of Science and Engineering received the Student Encouragement Award at the 87th National Convention of the Information Processing Society of Japan

The 87th National Convention of the Information Processing Society of Japan was held at Ritsumeikan University's Osaka Ibaraki Campus from Thursday, March 13th to Saturday, March 15th, 2025. Shinichi Uegaki (then a second-year student Division of Informatics Science) from the Teikyo Graduate School Graduate School of Science and Engineering (Correspondence Course) gave a presentation titled "Implementation of a Programming Activity History Acquisition Function in a Laboratory Experimental Environment for Information Science Students" during the student session "Educational Learning Support Information Systems" on Thursday, March 13th. His presentation was recognized for its potential for research development into advanced educational learning support information systems, and he was awarded the Student Encouragement Award. Uegaki's research presentation on the Laboratory Experimental Environment for Information Science Students also won the Student Encouragement Award at the 86th Convention last year, making this his second consecutive year receiving the award. We look forward to seeing even more success from Uegaki in the future.
