The 2024 Ale Baton Passing and Advice Session was heldHachioji Campus

On Thursday, November 21, 2024, a cheer baton pass and advice session was held at Teikyo University's Hachioji Campus, attended by students who passed the 2024 teacher recruitment exam and students who plan to take the exam from the following year onwards. The purpose of this event was for fourth-year students, who will be starting their teaching careers in April, to share with their juniors how to study and prepare for the teacher recruitment exam, and for third-year students to send words of encouragement, deepening the bond between seniors and juniors who will be working with the same local government in the future.
At the cheer baton pass event, following a greeting from Yamada Shigetoshi, Head of Center for Teacher Education, a panel discussion was held, moderated by the coordinator, where participants discussed topics such as "Reasons for choosing your local government," "When you started preparing," "Difficulties and setbacks," and "Memorable questions from interviews." A fourth-year student sent a message of encouragement to the third-year students, saying, "It's important not to give up even when you experience setbacks. Just keep trying," and finally, a third-year student commented, "The panel discussion helped me learn about things I was curious about," and "I'd like to use what we discussed today when planning my future study schedule."
Afterwards, advice sessions were held for each municipality, where fourth-year students gave direct advice to third-year students on how to prepare and take the teacher recruitment exam, deepening their interactions.
