Teikyo University's Itabashi CampusTeikyo Technology Transfer Center exhibited at the 28th Itabashi Industrial Fair

Teikyo University's Industry-Academia Collaboration Promotion Center exhibited at the 28th Itabashi Industrial Trade Fair/Manufacturing and Processing Technology Exhibition, held at the Teikyo Technology Transfer Center (formerly Itabashi Ward Higashi-Itabashi Gymnasium: Itabashi Ward, Tokyo) on Thursday, November 14th and Friday, November 15th, 2024.
This event is held annually as a business exhibition where companies and organizations with excellent products and technologies in the optical and precision equipment industries, mainly in Itabashi Ward, promote their products and technologies and interact with participants and other exhibitors. Approximately 100 companies and organizations exhibited, and over 1,700 people visited over the two days.
Our university's booth introduced Teikyo Technology Transfer Center, as well as industry-academia collaboration initiatives, products resulting from industry-academia collaboration, and initiatives to support the creation of startups. Furthermore, at the 2024 Itabashi Product Technology Awards ceremony, the "CO Measure (Ophthalmology Ophthalmic Ruler)," a new product from SquareWheel Inc., a Teikyo University venture company whose representative director is Senior Assistant Professor Sasaki Sho, Department Department of Orthoptics Faculty of Medical Technology won the Chief Judge's Award. In response to the award, Senior Assistant Professor Sasaki said, "I am very pleased that our hard work in eliminating on-site inconveniences has been recognized."

Our university will continue to actively engage in industry-academia collaboration.
