MOU signed with University of Coimbra, Portugal

On Thursday, August 22, 2024, Teikyo University signed an MOU with University of Coimbra (Portugal). University of Coimbra Founded in 1290, Teikyo University of Portugal is the oldest university in Portugal and is composed of eight faculties. It also oversees the Coimbra Group, an academic and cultural federation of 39 European general universities.

University of Coimbra This agreement was made possible with the full cooperation of Mr. Vítor Sereno, Ambassador of Portugal to Japan, and Mr. Makoto Ota, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Embassy of Japan in Portugal. In the future, we plan to promote a variety of exchanges, including the Teikyo-Coimbra Simulation Center Conference, a historical analysis of the two countries' exchanges from a contemporary perspective based at Hachioji Campus, and mutual visits and study by undergraduate students and Graduate School students, all of whom have long been in contact with . Furthermore, it is expected to contribute to the strengthening of bilateral relations between Japan and Portugal beyond the university framework, with the participation of the embassies of both countries.
